A special artistic collaboration forms the basis for the book entitled “Out of Silence”. De Kruiff has been making video’s of Gimbrère dance performances since 2000. Video stills of the performances “Traces” (2002), and “Passages” (2003) were chosen to illustrate the book. Its design, the Japanese technique used for the binding, the type of paper and Gimbrère script all come together to make it feel like the reader can dance accross the pages.
